Update 11/10

New Post,

I know I said I would be more active on the last post, however life has been boring on the cancer front. That however, is great news!

I had another MRI last week. drove back up to Vandy to be poked with a needle, sit in a tube for half an hour and listen to the worse soundtrack ever composed ( MRI's are loudly obnoxious). The great news is there isnt any growth based on the scans.

From my understanding of how mri's work with cancer, is cancer usually creates new blood vessels and greedily takes more blood than a regular cell would require, greedy little pricks. the increased blood cells carrying the contrast allow us to see cancer and track progression and regression.  So more concentrated blood flow and contrast means cancer.

As of right now the scan looks incredibly normal. No heavy concentrated areas of contrast and no inflammation.

On the life front

-Tennis skills are improving, have a pretty decent serve
-Our friends from a prior post (the Painter's)  had their baby. Shelby and I were able to visit.
-Alabama won against LSU

So that's basically it at the moment.

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.

Matt
